OUR HIGHTECH LABORATORIES

Where Biology and Design meet

At IKARUS, technology is more than infrastructure — it’s the logic of transformation. Our laboratories combine cutting-edge biotechnology, adaptive environments, and cognitive simulation to enable life beyond natural limitation. We employ the world’s most advanced technologies and rely on a multidisciplinary team of highly specialized researchers — experts in synthetic biology, neural engineering, transspecies genetics and ethical foresight. This is where biology meets design — and the GIR-Injection will be developed.

TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE GIR-INJECTION

Hover / Tap to see the technologies behind our GIR-injection.

The GIR Injection is a systemic vector-based intervention designed to initiate controlled phenotypic transformation in postnatal organisms. Unlike embryonic modification, this process leverages the full plasticity of adult tissue via adaptive genomic remapping.

RETROFRAME CRISPR CASCADE

A tiered editing system using temporally sequenced Cas variants delivered by retroviral nanocarriers. Function: Enables sequential activation and silencing of gene clusters across tissue zones, reducing immune detection and improving integration fidelity.

SRP-Y Icon
SRP-γ

SOMOLOGICAL RECEPTOR RELEASE UNIT

Pre-injection of smart ligands that bind selectively to stress-reactive somatic zones. Function: Targets tissue types predisposed to adaptive morphogenesis and modulates cellular receptivity to reprogramming agents.

AMRU Icon
AMRU

ADAPTIVE MORPHOGEN RELEASE UNIT

A self-regulating nano-dispersion system embedded in the injection medium. Function: Responds to real-time biofeedback and releases morphogens (e.g. BMP, FGF, Wnt analogs) in context-sensitive dosages.

HDM-X9

HISTONE DISPLACEMENT MODULATION

Utilizes histone-neutralizing peptides to temporarily dissolve epigenetic barriers. Function: Creates a permissive chromatin state in somatic cells, allowing transient access to silenced developmental pathways.

SRP-Y Icon
CME-2

CYTOGENIC MESH ENCODING

Encodes synthetic enhancer sequences into cytoplasmic plasmid vectors. Function: Facilitates intra-tissue propagation of genetic change without nuclear integration, minimizing mutagenic risk.

NEUROGENIC COMPLIANCE MONITOR

An integrated biofeedback loop monitoring neurochemical responses to transformation. Function: Stabilizes psychological state during identity-sensitive phases by modulating neurotransmission.

OUR PARTNER LABORATORIES

We work with international Partners to exchange knowledge

DIUK Health Logo

DIUK Health

DIUK Health made it possible to integrate a digital interface into the neuronal System of Rats. They are now able to communicate with each other by thought and to control other games with their “telekinetic power”. We exchange knowledge of neuronal technology.

NTU Basel Logo

NTU Basel

The Neuronal Technology University has done a lot of research in neuronal engineering. Their Cyborg Croaches have saved many lives. We exchange our gathered knowledge about neuro science with each other.

NTU Basel Logo

Weiss Institute

The Weiss Institute created Robo Bees to sustain our fragile biodiversity before our bees go extinct. With them, we`re now creating Octo Bees, so the future bees are also able to reproduce by themselves.

NTU Basel Logo

Institute of Genetics

The Institute of Genetics in Tokyo has, for the first time, gathered sound knowledge of the crossing of species genetics under controlled Plexiglas conditions and succeeded in creating interspecific life forms using genetic engineering.

NTU Basel Logo

Clonossal Biosciences

Clonossal has been collecting DNA to prevent extinction. We are allowed to use the genetic archive they have collected.
